FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Everything shippers and transporters ask us most — about loads, bids, money and trust.

Getting started

The basics

What is ManLogX?

ManLogX is a two-sided freight marketplace for South African road transport. Shippers post loads; vetted transporters bid on them or book them instantly; the platform handles contracts, payment and live tracking end to end.

Is it free to post a load?

Yes — posting loads and receiving bids is free. You only commit once you accept a bid or Book Now, so there's no risk in listing.

How do I register?

Open the app and choose Create an account. Pick your role — customer (shipper) or transporter — and fill in your company and contact details. Transporters are vetted before they can bid.

What's the difference between bidding and Book Now?

Open bidding lets multiple transporters compete on price over time. Book Now lets you set a rate and allocate a truck instantly — ideal when a load has to move today.

Money

Payments, wallet & escrow

How do payments work?

ManLogX runs on a prepaid token wallet (1 token = R1). Shippers top up via Paystack — card or EFT — and pay for freight from their balance. Transporters receive tokens on delivery and can cash out to their bank account.

What is escrow and why does it matter?

When a load is booked, a digital contract is created. The shipper funds it from their wallet and the tokens are held in escrow — the transporter sees the money is real before a wheel turns, and the shipper only releases it once delivery is confirmed.

What happens if a load is cancelled?

If a contract is cancelled before delivery, the escrowed amount is refunded to the shipper in full. Every movement is recorded on the contract's audit timeline. See our refund policy for details.

What if there's a disagreement about a delivery?

Either party can raise a dispute, which freezes the escrow until it's resolved. Our dispute policy explains the process and timelines.

How do transporters get paid out?

Add your bank details under Profile → Payments, then request a withdrawal from your wallet (minimum 50 tokens). Earnings are released from escrow the moment the shipper confirms delivery.

Trust & operations

Vetting, tracking & contracts

How are transporters vetted?

Transporters register their business and fleet details before they can bid, and build a performance rating with every completed load — so you can choose on both price and reliability.

How do I track my freight?

Once a load is allocated, the transporter posts live route updates. You follow real-time GPS progress from collection through to delivery on your dashboard.

Can I move both single loads and ongoing contracts?

Both. Post one-off loads to the marketplace, or run recurring lanes as tenders — collect submissions and award the transporter that fits your terms.

What vehicle types are on the network?

Everything from bakkies and 8-tonners to superlinks, reefers, flatbeds, tautliners and tankers. You pick the required vehicle type when you post the load.

Is my account secure?

Accounts use JWT authentication with role-based access, and you can enable MFA for an extra layer. Payments run through Paystack — we never see or store card numbers.
