Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the ManLogX platform at manlogx.com and the ManLogX app ("the Platform"). By registering an account you agree to them. If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

1. What ManLogX is (and is not)

• ManLogX is a marketplace that connects customers ("shippers") who post loads with independent transporters who bid on and haul them.
• ManLogX is not the carrier. The transport contract for each load is between the shipper and the transporter; the Platform facilitates booking, payment and tracking.
• We vet transporters on registration, but each party remains responsible for its own legal compliance, insurance and operating licences.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate company and contact information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We recommend enabling MFA.
• We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information, abuse the Platform, or repeatedly fail to honour bookings.

3. Loads, bids and bookings

• Shippers must describe loads accurately — route, cargo, weight, dates and any special handling requirements.
• A bid is an offer to haul the load at the stated rate. Accepting a bid, or using Book Now, creates a binding booking at that rate.
• Transporters must only bid with capacity they genuinely have, and must post honest route updates while a load is in transit.

4. Wallet, tokens and escrow

• The Platform uses a prepaid token wallet (1 token = R1). Tokens are purchased via our payment partner Paystack; we never see or store card numbers.
• When a booking is agreed, the shipper funds the contract and the tokens are held in escrow. Escrow is released to the transporter when the shipper confirms delivery, refunded on cancellation before pickup, or frozen if a dispute is raised.
• Refunds and withdrawals are handled under our Refund Policy; disagreements under our Dispute Policy.
• Tokens are a prepayment instrument, not a deposit-taking product, and earn no interest.

5. Fees

Registering, posting loads and receiving bids are free. Any platform fees applicable to booked loads are shown transparently before you confirm a booking.

6. Acceptable use

• No unlawful cargo, no misrepresentation of goods, weights or documentation.
• No attempts to take marketplace-discovered business off-platform to avoid escrow protections or fees.
• No interference with the Platform's operation or other users' accounts.

7. Liability

• The Platform is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• To the extent permitted by law, ManLogX's liability for any claim arising from the Platform is limited to the fees paid to ManLogX for the booking concerned.
• Loss of or damage to cargo in transit is a matter between shipper and transporter and their insurers; the escrow and dispute process exists to help resolve payment fairly.

8. Data

We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with POPIA.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes are notified in-app or by email, and continued use after notice constitutes acceptance. You may close your account at any time once active contracts are settled and your wallet balance is withdrawn or refunded.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
